Meet Lewis M. Smith:

Originally self-employed as a finish carpenter for over thirty years, Lewis began jewelry metalsmith as a hobby - looking for something that would put his creative skills to the test. As his jewelry-making progressed, he saw an opportunity to break away from the daily carpentry grind and move into something that would use his many years of finely honed skills.

Several years later (with initial course work at the University of the Arts in Philadelphia), Lewis has developed a new passion - and a new career. The foundation of the designs are sterling silver - using copper, bronze, brass and/or nickel to complement some pieces. Semi-precious stones are also used to accent and enhance earrings, necklaces, bracelets, pins and rings.

This website provides a representative sampling of the types of pieces offered. To fully appreciate the depth of our inventory, we invite you to visit us at one of our craft shows.
